Dartmuthia is a prehistoric fish, means primitive fish species that are identified only through fossil data and archaeological evidences. Dartmuthia is an extinct genus of primitive jawless fish.

The broad head shield of Dartmuthia is the only part that is known. Dartmuthia had a round, suckerlike mouth on the underside of its head like its contemporary (belonging to the same period of time) Tremataspis. There was a small dorsal fin which is halfway along its back. Behind the eyes there were pressure sensitive organs which were well developed on its head.
